My trip to Tokyo | Yakiniku Dinner at SATOブリアン

SATOブリアン

Yakiniku is the name of barbecues in Japan. Different cuts of beef are served without marinated or pre-seasoned. Restaurants usually suggest you to dip a bit of salt, a squeeze of lemon or a splash of their special dipping sauce after the meat has been grilled.

SATOブリアン was named The Tabelog 2019 Silver Award recipient for the third year in a row. The restaurant sources premium A5 Kyushu wagyu beef. We ordered their Dinner Tasting Course (GOLD) included 12 dishes which costed JPY 14,000/person. Everything on the menu was amazing, but my favourite were the sukiyaki wagyu beef dipped in a beaten premium raw egg yolk (特選ヒレすき) and the A5 chateaubriand with sea urchin (極上A5シャトーブリアン(うにブリめし)).
